1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using GapTrap's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you do not have permission to access our service.

2. Description of Service

GapTrap provides specification gap analysis services to identify potential issues in software requirements before AI-assisted code generation. Our service is currently in beta and features may change.

3. Use of Service

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If using our service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

3.2 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Submit malicious code or attempt to compromise our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the service
• Submit content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Use the service to develop competing products

4. User Content

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of specifications and requirements you submit ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited license to process and analyze it solely for providing our services.

4.2 Content Responsibility

You are responsible for your User Content and must ensure you have all necessary rights to submit it. We are not responsible for User Content accuracy, integrity, or quality.

5. Intellectual Property

The service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by GapTrap and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. Beta Service Disclaimer

Our service is currently in beta. This means:

• Features may change or be discontinued without notice
• The service may contain bugs or errors
• Uptime and availability are not guaranteed
• Analysis results are provided for informational purposes only

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GAPTRAP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that analysis results will be accurate or complete.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold GapTrap harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
